What about the waitlist?

Our waitlist times vary based on the time of day the client is available for therapy, the location of services, and the type of services needed. In general, clients with daytime availability for services have a much shorter wait than clients who are only available during evenings and weekends.

Is there a minimum number of service hours per week?

On average, our clients receive a minimum of 9-12 hours per week. Some clients may find that closer to 40 hours a week works better to meet their comprehensive goals. Recommended service hours for your child’s needs will come from assessments, insurance, and treatment plans. Does Lilac Learning Center provide help in schools?

We can provide support for your child at their school. These supports may include simply attending meetings and coordinating with special education teams to ensure consistent services across settings. We can offer extensive collaboration and communication with a school team and an administration that is willing, for direct consultation, coaching, and one-on-one therapy. If you believe your child would benefit from these services, we encourage you to start the conversation with your school team to see if they would meet with us.
